Policies and Rules of Play
Rocky Knolls Golf Course requests players to
use common courtesy during play.
Shirts are required.
Unlike many sports, golf is, for the most part, played without the supervision of a referee, umpire or coach. The game relies on the individual golfer to show consideration for other players and to abide by the rules. New golfers are often in need of advice about customary behavior and practices to follow on the course so that play proceeds safely and without delay. – USGA
U.S.G.A. Rules govern all play except as modified by the following local rules:
- Winter rules apply when posted.
- Fairways marked by mow lines.
- Lateral water hazards on 1, 5, 8 & 9.
- Fences mark out-of-bounds on 2, 4, 6 & 8.
- Relief is not allowed from maintenance paths.
